Description
This course is aimed at those learners qualified with a level 2 fitness qualification looking to be able to extend their knowledge and understanding of using a sandbag for performance related fitness. Other than this we do not set any other entry requirements for the qualification however other requirements may be required by the centre.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- List the benefits of PWR BAG training.
- List and practically apply the safety considerations of training with a PWR BAG.
- Explain how the PWR BAG fits into a Functional Training Continuum.
- Explain how to care for a PWR BAG.
- Demonstrate competent ability of the foundation PWR BAG exercises and drills.
- Demonstrate ability to progress, regress and vary PWR BAG exercises.
- Integrate PWR BAG exercises alongside other modes of training.
